Our View

Car accidents due to inattention and driver error occur every day on Virginia roads. As car accident attorneys specializing in personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits, we deal with them time and time again.

At this time, we can only speculate on the cause of this deadly Virginia car crash in Augusta County, but we can surmise that it was due to driver inattention of some kind. We also should be certain that we never are distracted or fatigued when we are driving.

As a result of this terrible car crash, the driver of the Toyota is seriously injured and the driver of the Hyundai is deceased. What a tragedy. The Toyota driver, in addition to his injuries and criminal charges, could be hit with a wrongful death lawsuit that could put him on the hook for millions of dollars. Wrongful death lawsuit settlements and verdicts often end up in large settlements for pain and suffering, lost wages and funeral expenses.
