The Virginia Beach Police reported Sept. 17 that a teenager was hit by a car on Saturday morning, and has died from his injuries.
Police officers responded to the accident scene on Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and died a few hours later. He was between the ages of 14 and 17.
The car driver stayed at the scene of the pedestrian accident. The police continue to investigate.
